Don’t Fall 4 Me

Don’t fall 4 me….
I am as rotten as can be.
Don’t let the hopeless romantic facade fool u,
Hopeless is what ur chances r as far as being with me.
I have a darkness in me…
U’ll never be able to escape
Just turn ur back on me
Don’t make this mistake…
I was a wise choice….
Once b4…
Then someone took my heart,
And I buried my soul.
Darkness is what I am filled with…
My only joy is pain…
Don’t fall for me…
I don’t mind sharing this pain

  4. On the first read it’s full of pain, loathing, a warning, but on the second read it has evoked sorrow, for it’s an admission of a broken heart once upon a time. Lovely, thanks for sharing 🙂

  7. Interesting poem. My observation: when people talk like this, the other person becomes more persistant.

    Enjoy your Potluck experience …

  10. Some complex feelings going on in this one. Come here, go away. Well written. It’s an interesting dance to play, sometimes for the protection of the other, sometimes for the protection of ourselves.
