Confirmation

Confirmation

I tell u that I love u…
& u laugh in my face.
I tell u that I need u…
U tell me u need space.
Confused….
I need u to confirm
What it is that u want.
Confused…
I need u to confirm if I’m a fool…
A fool for chasing something
That doesn’t wish to be caught.
I’m tired of trying…
It’s draining …
I’m beginning to wither away…
All I need is ur confirmation
Tell me u need me the same…
In the worst way!

I'm a person who believes in Happiness & Love... I feel that it empowers us to unimaginable heights... Not just the aspect of Romance... But a Love for Life... Beauty & the Unknown! However, As Positive as I try to be... the struggles of Life are relevant in my world... Perfection doesn't exist and Wise Choices haven't always been made! I try to describe those things in full detail... Bringing u visual imagery through my Poetry ! I Love Feedback... GOOD... or BAD.

  1. I know exactly how that feels, just wanting to know if your missed as much as you miss them when they’re not there or if you cross their mind as much as they do yours

  2. unspoken commitment, indeed!
the speaker is being taken for a ride, and is headed for the empty stomach.
me, the reader, having been here before, feels pity for the speaker…for s/he is about to get an education.
    good poem

  3. Really beautiful. Man… I hate some of you WordPress bloggers. I am a bitter person. Why do you make me feel soft inside?! Your poem describes a period my uncle was going through. 😦 Again, great job! By the way thank you for liking my post. I really appreciate it. As bloggers we put effort into our work and if there is no one to appreciate it – it’s just sad. You are quite talented.

  4. Happy November, hope all is well.

  5. Feels like the heart fearing unrequited love. Very well written. It’s like you are on a journey about love with all that I’ve read so far. The ups, the downs…it’s never an easy journey when you are looking for the genuine, known to be true.
