Silence

You make
What would normally be a day to myself…
Drag!
I don’t know what to do with myself.
I have officially lost it.
I find myself
Longing for your scent…
Longing for your lips…
I thought the water was shallow
So my first step…
Proceeded without caution.
& now I’m submerged
You’re holding me under…
You wont allow me 2catch my breath
You have flooded my everyday life
With thoughts of only you
Visions of Love
A great Love
I can’t wait until the next time I can see you

  5. mmmmm if this poem were food I’d say it was single bite of baked Alaska. Rich, full complex, yet easy. Done correctly (as this was) you yearn endlessly, eternally, for more. You become addicted, after only a single bite.

I think I will enjoy reading the rest of your blog as I did this poem.

I very much liked this poem

  6. Isn’t it funny how the right woman can turn your world inside out. It’s as though you are consumed. I’m going through this right now. Very nice work!
